Sorry to here that,so you have to pay them to make what should be inclusive calls, because unlike other suppliers they require you to dial an access code to get them.
Another good reason not to use them!!0 -
I have used skype instead. just a pain as i have lots of friends in Canada0

same here with calls across the pond, but I ain't blaming TalkTalk. Should I?0

If they advertise the calls as being included (provided you dial the specified prefix) but the prefix doesn't work, yes, of course Talk Talk is to blame.leecher wrote:same here with calls across the pond, but I ain't blaming TalkTalk. Should I?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

I have also read on more then one occassion that people have been charged for inclusive calls even when they used prefix. So keep an eye on your bills.;)
Other suppliers who offer inclusive calls just let you dial them direct. Talk Talk conveniently ask you to dial access code, which if you forget to do your charged. How convenient !!!0 -
it's just that I thought that there was a problem with the US numbers that I was trying to reach. I'll phone customer services tomorrow.0

Are you on CPS? If so, dial 1280 to hop back onto BT and use one of the 1p/minute 0844 gateway providers in the MSE International Callcheckerleecher wrote:I still can't connect to the US.
