the other week i bought 6 fox's digestive bars for 49p, seriously nice and cheaper than anything you can get at tesco that isn't in the value range.
going to sniff around on sunday for shower gel...

btw the 'bavaria' beer which is 99p for a masssive bottle is very nice apparently, got my mate some for his last birthday and he liked it, shame they don't sell stout there :(
they sold guiness the other week but it was dear (relative terms)
things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then ;)
BH is my best mate too, its ok :)

I trust BH even if he's from Manchester.. ;)

all your base are belong to us

These cost £1.18 each in Asda.

I discovered Home Bargains as the weekend in Bootle, Liverpool. This shop is amazing! I couldn't stop gasping at how cheap everything was. And it even sells booze. This shop can't get any better! I thought of the all MSEs whilst in there.

anyone been able to get vodka ice(black) in hb lately not seen it since week before xmas was a steal at 49p

Usually any specials like this are one offs. You need to stock up when you see it. They have stock lines but if you see amega deal like this it is usuallya one-off overstock or short date or old packaging that the manufacturer takes a lorryload of to Home Bargains and they clear it quickly. You don't usually see them a second time.

Reminds me of the Liptons Ice Tea big bottles for 29p last year....when I went back it had all gone. Time to go 'doh'! They also had small (400ml) bottles of Twinings Ice Tea in various flavours last year for 10p and I had packs and packs of that.... it was 80p a bottle in Tescos!!! Lovely stuff on a hot summers day.

My bargain buys today at Telford:

Slimfast Smoothies 4 for a quid still available, quite nice,a yoghurty taste, but a super bargain at that price.

Walkers big bags Sensations 49p, Prawn Cocktail Hula Hoops 8p, Cheesy Nik Naks 8p (short dated but still in date and fine), B2B 1ltr Smoothies 99p (plenty of time left on these, two flavours), Pringles Jalapeno 69p. Iams Cat Pouches 6 packs 99p (very good buy for Iams pouches, they are usually at least twice this price), Ocean Spray Cranberry Sauce for Chicken (a new one on me!) 39p, Iams Dog dry food 4.99

    Cheers

    Dom

These are the Comfort Plus Sensitive which have lubricant strips with Vitamin E and Aloe.
HB was selling them for 99p a pack... Wilkinsons have exactly the same product for £2.49!

I love H&B for the big bag of Sensations as DomTheMon said, for 49p.

Question for you HB loving people, have they got the Aero Truffle chocolate bars still in stock? I got loads for 15p about 2 weeks ago but haven't been back since. One of the nicest chocolate bars of all time!
