Lancaster this afternoon had Gold plated HDMI cables for £2.99.

They also had adult cycle helmets for £3.99, silver and black colour, 3 different sizes. As far as I know ALL cycles helmets have to pass rigorous safety tests before they can be sold so even at this price they will meet all safety standards (German Snell is the highest standard, I am told). At this price there really is no excuse not to wear one. I do a lot of cycling myself and wouldn't dream of going out without one and I certainly wouldn't let my kids cycle without one. They aren't the greatest looking things I have to admit but you soon get used to them. Read the fitting instructions, for maximum safety they have to be fitted correctly.

Lancaster shop also still had plenty of USB2 cables at 99p for a pack of three. They are identical to the ones at PC World for £15.00 EACH (but please say no one has ever paid that for one!).

    Cheers,
    Ian.
  • Today I got a bathroom airer thingy you put on the wall then pull the cord out to the opp wall to hang washing on, much more stylish than one's I'd been considering, a round chrome faceplate - RRP7.99 HBP 0.99p!

Also a Sally Hansen Nail revitalising kit - basically nail whitener with a scrubby brush no idea on RRP but also 99p

A Gaia Pilates workout kit witha medium resistance band and 40min workout dvd 1.99 They also had the resitance tube version at the same price

    ANOTHER microfibre hair wrap 99p

Harrogate Sulphur Soap - face and handwash with lots of loveliness in it apparently - antibac and antiseptic and good for psoriasis eczema and acne for 99p - RRP6.99

Catherine Lansfied 228cm chocoalte beaded table runner 2.99 - also in cream and damson/burgundy and in a smaller size for 1.99 - also matching pacemats, can;t remember the price but in packs of 4 to match

    And finally

Olay everyday sunshine 50ml, light sunkissed glow with spf15 2.99 rrp 7.49 - they also had this in a pack with the body moisturiser for just 3.99 - boots have this seperate for 6.99

PHEW! I only went in for a look!

Was in the Ripon branch yesterday and got some of those new twisted creme egg bars for 36p each, these are scrummy! A six pack of orange coke for 99p and some Magnetix magna bead sets for £1.99 (rrp £7.99). These are beads some of which are magnetic where you make a string of them and then using the manetic beads design how you want them to look either for a necklace or bracelet. My sister bought a string of these from a crafty fair last year for £15!

I've been looking for the NU-U products in Stockton but never seen any. Just been in this morning...still couldn't find any.
