We all know about speeding laws - are there any laws against going so slow like half the speed limit for no good reason??
Giving his details to the police is a good step, although they probably threw them away straight after talking to you.
I know how frustrating it is, although l've never had anyone make me try and hit them, l am constantly stuck behind d*ckheads doing half the speed limit for no good reason.
I know what you *want* to do to them, but l'm not sure what you *can* do to them to have any affect to make them stop.
I would just overtake, accelerate harder - if they are in a nova - you should be able to beat it - l'm looking forward to getting my new car, even more bhp will make this even easier.Sense is not common.0 -
PAulcbd,
Another benefit of having two wheels & not needing the power is that if you happen to follow people like this who then get stuck in traffic further down the road, you have the choice of giving their wing mirror a very hard slap with the palm of your hand as you filter past.
If their wing mirror seperates from their car, even better.
Just make a sharp exit if it does.0 -
Sheel, l'm glad someone knows how to drive
Same thing happens to me all the time... ::)Sense is not common.0 -
Sheel, that the point!! They don't think, they don't look, they probably don't use their mirrors. People with this level of incompetance have no place on our roads. They are a danger to themselves & others.
I get v annoyed watching programs like 'Britains worst driving'. They turn people's incompetance into entertainment. I'm appauled by some of the things i've seen on that program, its alarming that these people have licences. AND !!!! to top it all off, they reward them with new cars for making even the most minor improvements.
They should change the format of that program. They should get police driving assessors in. Put them through the usual tasks, if they show a particularly low level of competance & don't improve even after thorough instruction, they should have their licence ripped up in front of their noses, banned for life from driving & be forced to watch 5 hefty blokes dismantle their car with sledgehammers.
Now that would be entertainment & very satisfying to know these people are off the roads.0 -
Years ago people started getting cameras in the front/back etc. of their motors to record this type of silly b**gers. If people are that concerned I'm sure this kind of thing is cheaper than it was and would go down a storm with your local copper/nick...0

i also own a bike (125cc at the moment..soon a 600cc hornet :-*) but the best thing i have learnt is the lifesavers glance...which i use religiously whether on a bike or in a car. It isnt hard to drive as long as ppl dont let there emotions get in the way or loose the attention of what they are supposed to be doing (driving..not talking..tuning a radio..applying make up etc)
i treat every road user a a total moron. most are not but at least i am prepared for those fewSmile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
Excellent idea daytona, l'd watch that. ;D ;D ;DSense is not common.0
