Are there a lot of messages? It could be filled up to capacity.
You could perhaps use HTC Sync on a computer - connect the phone up and then browse text messages and see if you can back some of them up to the pc (if that is what the problem is).0 -
No just deleted some of the messages and still will not let me read any
there's only 4 on there now
its like the program as crash.... I have rebooted the phone a couple of times but still the same
it could be a firmware problem.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
Cleared sent folder as well?
If you have nothing important on the phone and can backup all you need - just do a factory reset. Just be careful, you will lose any apps you have downloaded and installed.0 -
Yeah just done a factory reset and all working now
my daughter as just got to put all the apps back now lol
Can't understand why HTC bring out a phone you can't store most stuff on the memory card a bit stupid really

You can store plenty on the SD card.
Not with the HTC Wildfire s the phone memory fill's up quick and most stuff like apps you can't install straight onto the SD Memory card because the phone uses the internal memory first But by the time that's filled up it won't let you transfer to the SD card
Shame really because its a good little phone apart from that.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
For what it's worth, my son is just the same with his Galaxy Ace. Crams it full of apps then cannot receive new text messages.
