  • Quick question guys.

I have far received no reply from wescot. They got the letter as i tracked it and viewed there signiture. It was received last monday. is it 7 working days or 7 days they have to reply. And if no reply by Monday which now looks likely. Whats the next step?

    Thanks in advance

if its not your debt then defend on that basis. adding that wescot have refused reasonable requests for proof and ignored your dispute

if its definetly not your debt then wescot are just going to make themselves look very silly if they insist on going forward
  • Still no news from wescot.....its been 7 days now:j

    Stew,

You need to file either an embarrassed defence or a defence based on no knowledge of the debt.

Either way, it needs to be worded properly and I can't help with that.

Get yourself over to CAG a bit quick and post a run-down of the situation to date in the debt / legal section. They are pretty good on there for helping out and helping you word the defence.

Keep in touch and good luck.
