NOD32 v2 was legendary in its hey day...not only fantastic detection rates but also very light on resources when just about every other AV software was a resource hog in those days. However, these days other AV companies have caught up and while i wouldn't say ESET v5 is poor, its no better or worse than the likes of Avira, Norton, kaspersky, Avast etc. I wasn't that impressed with ESET v4 and switched to Norton 2011 (shock horror!) and haven't looked back

I trialled it around june, so if it's changed for the better, great - looks like another bout of testing is called for ......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
