Depends upon a myriad of things. Not least of which is are you talking about the first hour in a cold house, or an hour after the house has reached a specified temperature. Combi boiler or hot water tank.....etc.
Best thing to do is read your gas meter (including the decimal digits) at the start and end of each hour, avoiding anything else using gas during the time.

Since we don't know what gas tariff you are on, how high you set your CH, how efficient your boiler is, or how good your insulation is, how can anyone answer that?

I could make a rough guess, but it would involve so many assumptions it wouldn't be worth much.

If you want to keep track of spending you could set up a spreadsheet with the figures for how much gas costs, dates and put in meter readings. You'll get a feel for what your consumption habits really cost after a while and will know if you're spending too much before the quarterly bills arrive.

Of course not. Your question is as pointless as asking how much it will cost to drive from Liverpool to Manchester.

Yes...you need to provide them as Victor2 has suggested in Post 2.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

    3.5p x 28kW = £1 on full-blast.

It is not on full blast all the time.
