How to get refund for goods bought on Egg card taken over by Barclaycard?

I have managed to print out the transaction from my statement that shows the last digits of the card and further down the statement all from Barclaycard has the digits of the new card so I think this will be fine now. Am going to go to the store tomorrow and wil let you know how I get on tomorrow!

I would say nothing unless you are challenged as you're just going to complicate things!

I managed to get a refund to my new Barclaycard no problem. When they queried the different number on the card I said it was a replacement card and they seemed happy with that. Could not have been easier. Other retailer I had gone to a few days ago made me sweat it out and only gave it to me because a queue was forming in the shop and because it wasn't a big amount, basically on goodwill.
