It was sold as faulty, it is faulty, it can be repaired, you just tried your luck and got bit.

Don't pretend that you don't understand the difference between the "red ring of death" and fire damage. Such pointless trolling is just a waste of time.

If you really aren't capable of understanding such distinctions, imagine that you bought a car that was described as having a puncture, but subsequently discovered that it didn't have an engine and was fire damaged. Would you really say, "Oh well - it was described as faulty and it is faulty; I just got bit (sic)."

Would a puncture really warrant a Car Sale carrying the term FAULTY??

Eerr, I don't think so, do you? really now?

Do you genuinely believe people will advertise Faulty cars on Autotrader/Ebay etc when all it has is a puncture..... seriously?

If a car was described as Faulty, and it subsequently had no engine and was fire damaged, I would think, "Hey, this car is Faulty".

The difference is, if it was listed with a known fault that is relatively straightforward and easy to fix, but you discovered that in fact, the engine and electronics are goosed and basically you've just bough the "shell" of the car.........you wouldnt see the difference?

Luckily, law doesn't agree with your opinion. As i stated previously, if you are made aware of a fault on purchase, you cannot return for that reason BUT you can return if another fault is apparent/develops.

Its like buying a pc advertised with a faulty power supply unit when in fact, the whole thing is fried and nothing more than a big paperweight.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride

I think you might be on the wrong site. Have you read the title of this forum?

If you think that saving money is fruitless pursuit, I recommend you post elsewhere. I hear Digital Spy are desperate for trolls.
