Which earphones ?

Sennheiser CX300, had them nearly two years no problems. I didn't pay the Amazon price though, picked them up (genuine) for less than half that.

Creative EP 630 are very similar but I find think they are a bit more bass heavy - my son likes them;)

eugh for earphones sold with phones/ipods. Truely horrendous things. As an Apple person, I have never understood why they have done NOTHING to improve on the earphones they sell with the iphone/ipod, truely awful things that serve no purpose whatsoever...

i recommend you to buy a Senheiser one,it has good quality for listening.
Then I reccommend the MX500.

There are certain Brands which are the best while buying Headsets.

You can go for Sennheiser, Creative & Sony.

They are really trusted brands.

Don't have an Ipad but have seen the earphones and they don't inspire confidence. I guess they expect people to simply upgrade to something of their choice to keep the price down;) I had the same with a personal DAB.

I have an, inherited Samsung Tocco Lite and have purchased these mainly for the adapter bit as the phone has an odd plug. I have to say they are pretty good earphones considering the price and the earphone bit has lasted.

I actually use CX300 sennheisers and these have a right angle plug on them. If your daughters phone accepts a straight 3.5mm plug that might help resilience wise. Mine are used daily with the phone in pocket.

Most earphones are pretty delicate and live in hostile environment.

superb earphones for the price. Use mine with Ipod and Iphone most days on the train and they are good for blocking out external noise too.

Which I have seen on independent forums too.

I have brought genuine off flea bay, packaging was A1 spot on compared to the high street, sealed and identical to a shop brought pair. Perhaps the shop brought ones were fake:-(

I think the comment from sennheiser says it all.

Don't dispute there are real fakes out their but many are very obvious.
