Does anyone have any reccomendations for earphones to use with mp3/mobile phone ?
I want to buy a decent pair (that wont break the bank) but which when used means that everyone else cannot hear the music like the current pair Daughter has.
Thanks

Erm price, probably £30 tops, will I get anything decent for that ? Thing is I dont want to pay a lot if we will still hear her music, but for the sake of an extra tenner then yes would probably go higher than the £30.
Nothing worse than in the car listening to someone elses horrible tatse in music
Thank you for that link but she would want the in ear type.0 -
Hi
According to your budget I would go for one of these, I have both and I've been very impressed with the sound quality and build quality, and I'm very picky...

these, every day of the week. Incredible, with little/no sound leakage0 -
Thanks very much for these, will have a look at them links0

All depends what the tasks are:
If it's purely for listening and lower end of the budget:
Then these will probably suffice (unless she's an audiophile)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-EP-630-Noise-Isolating-Earphones/dp/B0009G6FQI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1321533968&sr=8-1
Similar priced sennheisers will also do a good job!
If the tasks are to double up as a hands free and a little bit over your budget then (also slightly beyond the £30 budget):
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wolfson-Digital-Silence-DS-101A-Earphone/dp/B004K1D2NM/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1321533703&sr=1-2
I actually won a pair from twitter, generally the sound is good, noise cancellation does a decent job of "cancelling" out the noise of the train/car (note: it doesn't eliminate talking as it's not constant):exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0 -
These are universally recognized as the best budget earphones on the market for the price, bar none: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-II-Precision-Isolating-Ear-canal/dp/B001EZYMF4/ . But DON'T get them from the Amazon Marketplace, since most third party vendors there sell fakes and they don't even know it. Go to a brick-and-mortar store and buy them there, even if they're a bit more expensive. Trust me, the first set I bought were fake and sound quality was good, but their build quality was flimsy and cable noise was ATROCIOUS. And the worst thing is that you can't tell a fake from the real thing unless you compare them side by side, they really look like the real deal!0

+1 for Creative and the Sennheiser in-ear phones as above.
Also +1 for not buying them in the Amazon marketplace or ebay as fakes are commonplace.
Buy from Amazon direct.0 -
Can anyone reccommend a good pair of earphones that will last more than a couple of months, my daughter seems to go through them so fast. She used the earphones which came with her samsung mobile & got about 6 months from the, longest yet, starting to cost me a fortune, so need good build quality with a budget around £30.00 or less.0
