Place that in the Html section on WP not the visual and it should work.

Wordpress is very easy and very customisable too, I run a couple of WP sites without the blog aspect. Loads of plugins and themes available too.

Setting up wordpress couldn't be easier, a lot of hosts offer 1 click set up how could it be any harder?? Its not hard to change themes or add plugins as it can all be done from the control panel side, it really doesn't get any easier. If you have the content ready to go you could have a site with a couple of pages up and running within an hour or even two.
