Help with Quidco and Vodafone new contract?

Hi,
I'm really sorry if this is the wrong forum - wasn't sure which one to post on!!
I am currently looking into purchasing the new Nokia Lumia 800 on a contract with Vodafone £36 a month (as a new customer) and at the moment (with it expiring soon Quidco offer £140 cashback and also on the Vodafone website the first 10,000 people to purchase the phone will get 6 months of £10.00 vouchers.
My daughter is on a temporary contract with Monarch at the moment until May next year (although it may be sooner as she is looking for another job) and at the moment she told me she can get 20% of a new contract with Vodafone for 5 friends and family (over £20.00 a month) which will bring the contract down to £28.80 a month. She will have to submit a form within 30 days of my purchase to get the discount applied to my account.
My query is that on the quidco 'details' for this cashback it says - 'Discount can not be applied to your order after you have made your purchase' and so I am wondering whether this means that I won't be able to get my daughters employee discount. I really can't afford £36 a month and so don't want to risk it if I won't be able to get it.
Could anyone help/advice me? I know there are other contracts that I can get cheaper than £36 a month and would go for one or them if not.
Many Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post!!

I thought that employee discount could only be used in store?

Also, Voda can by one of the slowest to pay out through Quidco. My one and only acc with them took 2 years to come through. . .
  • I suspect you can either get the Monarch deal or the Quidco but not both

Having said that if you can't afford £ 36 per month why not get a slightly less state of the art phone for much less money - £ 15-20 will get you an android thingie via Quidco which will do pretty much everything and thats even assuming you will exploit even 10 % of the capabilities which most people don't

one or the other, topcash paid out quick with voda on bb and mobile bb
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Word of warning regarding Vodafone and Quidco. I clicked via the Quidco website to get a £150 cashback from a 24-month Vodafone contract. I'm well aware that you shouldn't rely on actually getting the money, but Vodafone have today point blank refused to honour the cashback, claiming I used another vouchercode, which is absolute nonsense. I followed all the procedures (cleared my cookies out before, left them in afterwards etc etc). I then got the full price contract with no vouchercode in sight.

It has taken six months for them to reach this conclusion, which means I am too far into my contract to withdraw. Quidco, to give them their due, have been really helpful, but I honestly think Vodafone never had any intention of honouring the cashback. They now have my business and I really do feel they are giving me a big two fingers up. Well, Vodafone, I will be leaving my contact as soon as I am able. If you had just done the decent thing then you probably would have had my business for several years to come.
