    Beg to differ

If you are certain that what you agreed to wasn't a 1 year lump sum then yes, you should be able to contact your payment provider (credit or debit card issuer) and dispute the payment.

However, if Plentyoffish are able to show that what you signed up to was a 1 year payment then they will try to reclaim the money from you and this may well involve them passing the debt on to a collection agency.
So unless you are 100% sure that you didn't miss the bit shown by tomwakefield it may well cost you far more than £84 if you dispute the payment.
  • I got redirected from my iPhone... I didn't click upgrade etc it took me straight to a page saying I needed a monthly subscription before I could access the app again

OP it is clear that it was a lump sum paid either 3,6 or 12 monthly in advance. their is no monthly option. it also states clearly " the upgrade is non refundable"

you could call them and say can i have my money back as i cannot read
  • I thought POF was a free site. Guess they've hopped on the bandwagon.
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
