Hey there! I have been using a dating app on my iPhone called plenty of fish. The app stopped working and asked me to visit the website which I did.
There I found I was now having to do a monthly subscription of £7 a month which was fine. So I proceeded.
Ive since checked and theyve taken the whole subscription of £84!!!
Can I cancel this payment before they pocket it!? Can my bank stop the transaction! Should I cancel my card? Help!!!!

What did the T&Cs say about payment? If you agreed to pay a year in one go there is not much you can do really!Thinking critically since 1996....0

another user complaining on here because they dont seem to be able to read.
it is £7 a month if paid annually in advance ( 12 x £7 = £84)0 -
It didn't say anything about a year cost.. Only in brackets and all implied I was signing up to a monthly agreement. No warning etc stating a years payment would be taken!!!0

Obviously 7x12 = 84 but it only implied monthly payments not that they would take the whole amount in one go!0

Can you link us to the T&Cs that you agreed to?Thinking critically since 1996....0

It clearly didn't say that otherwise I would not of gone ahead. Can I stop the payment anyway?0
