You can either link to photos on your own domain/website (if you have one), or a lot of people use a photo hosting site such as https://www.photobucket.com. This is a place on the web where you can store your photos for free and link to them from your listings.

I don't use TurboLister so can't help you with the specifics, but they are explained in this thread.

If you need anything explained more clearly don't be afraid to ask as hopefully someone who uses TurboLister will be able to help. :)

Auctivia! Could someone explain in plain English what that website is all about?

Ive had alook, signed up, got my token, but I still don't see why it's required or what service they are offering that Ebay doesnt already!

Also do they charge or take any commission?

PS - In reply - we all have to pay for out first photo - regardless of what method of listing we use and where they are hosted. Ebay have removed the ability from the new listing method to link directly to external photos and so hope that you use their hosting charged at 12p per photo.

So currently I could feature 10 photos on my listing for 12p whereas using the new Ebay method it would now be £1.44!
Ebay are making too much money out of this now. First basic listing fees, then the photo hosting, then the final value percentage, then the commission from using Paypal (if you use them - its now owned by Ebay!)

We end up paying Ebay numerous times over to sell a product - it was even featured on BBC2's Working Lunch yesterday that there is an unrest between sellers about new methods and costs being implemented by Ebay.

Sometimes I get more than one picture free !!, if you copy and paste a picture, you can put it in where your text goes. I have been doing this for some time now and so far, have got away with it, but I only use the one or 2 small ones, my friend who told me how to get extra free ones has since been told off by Ebay for doing it, but she did put 4 in !!!.

I am intrigued about how you are putting extra free photos in your listing.

If you don't want to post it here I was wondering if you could explain via PM.

I am VERY frustrated at Ebay's latest scam concerning images in listings!
