    Warning Do Not Go June.

Thousands Of English Clubbers Are Goin For Last 2 Weeks In June. I Know Cos I Go, But I Would Not Recommend Anyone Else Goes.if They Are Not Into This, I Could Imagine This Being Hell, For Other People Old And With Kids. I Only Go For The Music. I Class It As The English Equialnt Ti Hayling Island Boring......................
i will be debt free, i will
  • We must have gone to Lloret at least once a year for about the last four years, but we actually use a hotel that is in Fenals, which is to the side of Lloret centre and has it's own bay, with boat trips from it to up and down the coast, including Lloret centre, Tossa de Mar, Blanes etc.

Fenals is quieter, but about a 15-20 mins walk up and down a big hill or on the flat via the main road. We use the Aquarium Hotel which is part of a group which has several hotels in the Costa Brava area, one of which is in Tossa De Mar. https://www.ghthotels.com They are clean, some getting a little worn but bedrooms in Aquarium were refurbished last year. Food is good and adequate, but usual spainish buffet fare, you can always find something you like and can eat as much as you want. I have also stayed in the Tossa de Mar hotel Oasis Tossa, part of the same group.

We always book our flights and accomodation direct with the airline and hotel.
Transfers by taxi can be reasonable from Gerona, but very, very expensive from Barcelona, we usually hire a car from the airport or drive down in our own car. We don't know what it is like in high season as it usually Easter and or October when we go, weather very nice, warm enough to go around in a t-shirt in the day, but not to go in the outdoor pool.

    Best wishes and happy holidays.
