New recipe ideas

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone would have any different recipe ideas the would like to offer me. I have a standard repertoire and only buy what I need, so anything different that could be made from the same ingredients would be good!

My current meals include:
Spaghetti Bolognese
Stir Fry
Wraps (same as Stir Fry really but minus rice and in wraps!)
Sausage & Mash
Shepherds Pie
Curry
Jacket potatoes with Quorn Chilli

You can see that I am trying to get the most out of my ingredients by doing meals based on the same things (i.e. bolognese style mince). I would like to try new things but I am loathe to vary my shopping as I don't want to risk spending more money.

If anyone has anything new and different they could suggest I would be very grateful! :D

I thought about doing spag/meatballs. Not sure how good Quorn mince is at sticking together. I may have a go and see what happens.
Have done Sausage cass before but forgot about it - thank you! Good idea with Winter setting in.

Yeah :) I always wonder why some people always insist on only using cabbage for bubble & squeak. Any veggies will do, and any potatoes.

The best one I ever made was with leftover cauliflower, peas, carrot and roast potatoes.

I never have leftover chips - but one day I'm going to try it :)

    We're better than them :p:)

To start with - the vast majority of recipes have been tried and tested by Old Style readers...

..but best of all - for a lot of them; if you need help you can ask the original author or at the very least someone who has made the dish concerned - sometimes getting an answer back in less than five minutes.

We've got to be the best off the cuff recipe resource on the planet :)

I don't think you can make meatballs with quorn mince, but you could make
Tacos, Enchiladas, that Greek layered dish with aubergine that's like lasagne? (mind block!), keema curry, mince and onions (in or out of pie)...

Moussaka? Pastitsio is another good Greek dish with mince.
