Slow brand new laptop

Processor is pretty slow but still shouldn't be taking 30 seconds to copy and paste. I would have suggested uninstalling all the rubbish that usually comes with pre-built machines but if the screen is faulty that's an instant send back.

Just looked at this thread. Send it back. Its a good spec, so that shouldn't be happening.

Yes. You'll be able to install Office and use that license on another machine (if it's a retail license. If it's OEM then you might need to go through the phone MS to revalidate rigmarole. Note: I might be confusing this last part with Windows activation).
