New Chapter for me

A new chapter in my book I was previously writing in my old thread as DFW with Depression I have decided to start a new thread because I feel I have overcome a lot especially over this last 6 month: Over this time I have lost two stone in weight i am sleeping 8 hours (regular) I have been on and come off Anti- Depressants I have attended a NHs health training, and attending counselling sessions, and the main thing now i feel comfortable and confident in myself that i know what happened with my ex - girlfriend was not my fault. My focus now is very simple to be savvy with finances to reduce my spending and try my hardest to clear my debt quicker than what my DMP says , £5000 in 2 years eight months, i have realised now is to be thankful for everything i have a nice warm bed with food on the table and a roof over my head i have a job and a beautiful daughter and good health With determination i will suceed with a smile on my face Please watch this space......

Well done, it sounds like you are really getting there. Will look forward to reading what you can still achieve further! Good for you.
  • Wow, what alot to go through and end up uber focused. With a realisation and attitude like that, I think the DFD is a bit on the pessimistic side:T

  • You're doing brilliantly Adrian and I think it's a good move to let the old thread go - that's the past now and you're looking to a postive, happy future.

  • A lovely day it has been for me today i have only worked four hours today but those 4 hours have been good and very practical, I have been made aware by my brother of a job that is coming up at his work place, If was to apply it would mean a seven thousand pound payrise f i was to get the job it would be awesome so i am seriously considering it. During the day i have spent about £16.50 on a birthday present and card for my mum its her birthday today (60) and during the evening i have been to Beamish Museum ( what a fantastic place to visit ) normally it costs an arm and a leg to get in but because its Children in Need night and that's where my regions event was held i got in for free, and there was so much other things to do there. So a great Friday heres looking forward to a great weekend ahead.
