Cancelled Sky TV sub - query

Hi,
Does anyone know if this is the norm, we cancelled our sky tv subscription last month, and the channels went off as expected on the due date, the sky + bits didn't work either, which is what we expected, but some time after that our + facilities are working again, so we can use the sky box as a recorder etc. Now I had been considering getting a Humax freesat recorder but now not sure I need to.....so is this normal to be able to get the + facilities? If it's not I'm not sure how we are getting them!

Just make sure you check your sky account online in case they try and bill you for it!Please help to make people Endometriosis aware!

Mine did this for 2 years after I cancelled. Somehow I was left with about £9 credt when I closed my account so not sure if this caused it. They only stopped it when I rang up to ask about about rejoining and they noticed I still had the + functions.0
