Im asking on behalf of my sister, she moved away from blackberry but misses bbm. Now she wants to start using it again but not as her main phone.

Anybody know the cheapest way to use bbm and email on pay as you go? the device is unlocked so network is not an issue.

Thank you :)

You can get boosters (add-ons) like those from t-mobile for £5 / month for BBM on pay and go.
Not sure if you need internet addon too along with the BBM - if you did that would be another £5 odd per month on pay and go.

Cheaper being on contract (probably) but then I get cheap deals - got my first Blackberry and like it for internet - much better than other phones I have had (using Opera Mini as the browser).
  • All you need is a pay and go sim with the network of your choice and BiS (Blackberry Internet Service) add on - which is basically your internet, bbm, emails etc. You will need to call them to get them to put it on, which as above is about £5 a month from most providers, so make sure she keeps it topped up to cover it :)
This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.

No it isn't. Not for stand-alone Blackberry Internet/Email.

The cheapest standard cost just for Blackberry Internet Service is £20 for 6 months - or £3.33 per month with T-mobile PAYG.

You can even get 6 months FREE internet with a FREE blackberry SIM.

Every 6 months, you just top up £20 and then text 6MONTHBB to 441 and £20 is deducted from the credit balance, and 6-months of access to Blackberry Internet service is activated.
