Sony Ericsson Xperia or HTC Wildfire

I can change my phone now as my contract renewal is due. I can't decide between Sony Ericsson Xperia or HTC Wildfire. Advice on which is the better phone would be appreciated please.

(PS.. not interested in getting an iphone or increasing my monthy amount so these are within the group available to me, I don't want to change provider either)

Is that Xperia Arc ? Ray ? HTC Wildfire ? HTC Wildfire S.

I would go with the Sony - camera ought to be better for one thing and the Xperia Arc is a better spec than the HTC overall.

IMO X10 beats even Wildfire S, let alone Wildfire:

I have the Ray, my brother has the Wildfire S, I also have a Wildfire, I favour the Ray over the Wildfire S, trouble with the NEO (well for me) is that the camera lens is in a vunerable position, but aprt from that it's a good handset, battery life the HTC should be better, I get many days out of the HTC and we are talking 4-5 days, the Ray sees 48 proper hours.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm swaying towards the Xperia.
