Dear all,
I've been with sky for a yr now. Overall pretty pathetic customer service. I moved home and they took nearly 10 days to give me my landline (no new line was needed, they just needed to activate it remotely) and no sign of broadband yet. I should have got it yesterday acc to the letter they sent but due to some tech probs, it might take another 2 weeks...!!!!!!? I decided to move on...so asked for cancellation... I was paying £26 a month for unlimited broadband, anytime calls (plus some international destinations)
Looking at the deals avaialble (+quidco), Orange and talk talk seem good to me. I tried to search on this forum about reviews for both these services...but I find it hard to understand the jargon... DSL, ASDL2 etc.
Can I please ask someone to help me choose?
my post code is BR20SQ
Thanks in advance,
Tulips

I suspect that the delays were caused by the terminally dire BT Openreach who actually do the work associated with re-activating a phone line and connecting up for ADSL.
By cancelling you've just set yourself back to the start of the Openreach queue.
I wouldn't personally give either TalkTalk or Orange my business. Of the three companies you've mentioned I'd take Sky.0 -
My advise would be to stick with Sky.
Try an email to Jeremy Darroch, see if that gets a result.
Sky rely on BT Openreach to do the exchange work, and the same is true no matter which ISP you use.
Whoops beaten to it!!That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Who is Jeremy Darroch?0
