Advice on getting a contract

Hi, I am currently on a PAYG from O2.
I am looking to get a contract with 200mins a month and either 100 or 200 texts a month. I don't need a handset (although getting a new one then selling it on eBay is a possibility).
Basically, I am looking for some advice on which would be the cheapest as I am reading lots of threads here about getting superb tariffs once you are upgrading. I've looked at some deals fom moneysupermarket.com and they look good, but the threads in here with people saying they haggled over their upgrade and get contracts working out at about £5 per month has got me thinking that I might be missing out on something.
Is the best I can hope for one of these offers from the website? I've had the PAYG for over a year, but I am a low use user (I topup a tenner every 1.5/2 months).
While this level of usage is very low, it will become much higher in the coming months as I will use the mobile as my house phone (I'm moving into a new place soon and won't bother getting a dedicated line in as I'm not a big phone user)
