Sounds like a connection is loose somewhere. Maybe try wiggling the ariel connector? Maybe the wire is loose on the dish end, is it possible to go and have a look?

I've had the same problem for about 6 months so decided to upgrade to sky+ as they fit a new lnb which has solved the problem there is a free number to sky here it is i used it a week ago. 08000512595.

As for your pin number it did used to be the last 4 digits on card but now it is set by sky so you will have to phone them and arrange to change it to one you will remember.
