Re-using vegetable/sunflower oil

Ok so there are times when you have to change the deep fat fryer
oil and you may get to thinking its a waste to chuck away dirty oil....

Well I put a funnel with a coffee filter in another oil bottle
then poured the oil into that so if gets finely drained/filtered
and I will say the old oil is crystal clear...

Im sure its fine to do that, although i wouldnt want to do it for weeks on end tho!!!!

I don't have a chip fryer. I do chips occassionally in a sausepan and I filter the oil each time.

you break it down then put it in your diesel car its call bio fuel :-) --- very illegal according to HM Customes though.

That's what I do Rikki, only I do have a chip pan which I use only occasionly, I use a tea strainer to filter the oil and then I store it in a couple of jars, it gets used for up with frying and roasting.
