BT Home hub connection knocks out house phones

    To recap, you need a filter on everything plugged into the phone system, including a sky box if you have one.

    Once installed and working the Home Hub will do as you ask. It will connect by wireless to laptops etc. round the house and via Ethernet cable(s) to desktop(s).

  • Thanks again for the answers. On a minor point, I take it that the Hub will distribute to wireless devices within the house, e.g. laptops, while it is connected by wire to my desktop PC..???
    That's how mine is set up. Old tin box connected by wire, 2 laptops by wireless, DD's mobile by wireless and even mother in laws laptop next door can connect ok.
    I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
