hi, i hope someone could give me a lil advice, i paid my tesco bill upto date last tuesday and was told that my services would be reinstated as they were cut off the day before, now a week on and nothing,
ive phoned them various times from neighbours phones and have been given excuses every time, from
your services will be on in 14 to 48 hours
your services will be put on in 24 - 48 working hours which is 5days
there is a fault on your line
no there isnt a fault on your line
weve put an urgent request in
my manager will ring you ( he didnt )
i cannot ring ring them for free as the 0800 number i have for them ( which they dont tell you about ) cant be called from the line or any other 0800 numbers
im going with talk talk next week , but im still under a 12 month contract with tesco, surely they have not fullfield their side of the contract,

If you were disconnected for non-payment, Tesco cannot be said to have failed to fulfill their side of the contract - so moving to Talk Talk (frying pan and fire spring to mind) will make you liable to breach of contract charges.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Why where you cut off ??
Looks like you are going to end up paying Tesco for twelve months contract . Or Tesco may not release the line to Talk talk and or it is a debt that goes on your credit record as well .
