How can you burn a pizza?!
Even I, whose sole culinary delights consist of grilled meat, Victoria sandwich cakes, and pizza (there must be some relation between them all - honest) don't burn a pizza...
:rotfl:
> stick in oven
> forget about it
> remember
> run into the kitchen swearing like a trooper
> discover food has burnt
> eat burnt pizza
This time was because my sister called me, normally it's because the internet distracts me.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Did I not mention that my culinary skills consist of:

> forget about it
> remember
> run into the kitchen swearing like a trooper
> discover food has burnt
> eat burnt pizza
This time was because my sister called me, normally it's because the internet distracts me.
I downloaded a piece of software for my computer that acts as a count-down timer. It chimes when time is up.

:rotfl: I just use a little buzzer timer. And prefer things that I can see as I cook them.
Emergency pizza is a fab plan :T. Even if your delivery people will be out of business

I need it to be payday so I know how much my new job is going to be paying me each month, this is the first full wage packet since I started the job. I'm going to allow for £1525 a month anything extra can go towards debts then house deposit. So....
Bills
£811 - rent
£50 gas, electric (into pot)
Car
£19 car tax (into pot)
£5 MOT (into pot)
£25 car service (into pot)
£50 car insurance (into pot)
Debts
£90 wescott
£20 c/c
£5 OD
Food
£100 veg box (5 @ £20/week)
Luxuries
£250 weekly allowance (5 weeks @ £50/week)
£15 christmas (into pot)
£10 contact lenses (into pot)
£20 birthdays (into pot)
£5 haircut (into pot)
£50 petrol (to parents once a month)
Total budget: £1525
I'm likely to get nothing less than £1750/month so the extra can go towards my debts. If I can keep track of how much I spend on food each week, then I can work out what my pocket money is from the £50/week.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Glad you had a good time in wales
the frozen pizza is such a good idea..the pizza places by us have stopped the buy one get one free's and they seem to cost a small fortune!
Ooo interested in this post office card, what is it exactly ?x0 -
Hi Cherry, PO card you fill in a form at the PO then you can load it with money and can pay your bills with it. If you look on their website at "counter services" you can see it on there. I think you have to go to the PO to put the money on it, and once it's on there you can't take it off, so makes sense for having to pay the car tax until I learn to not spend my emergency potDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Hmm... for some reason I thought I had less money than I actually do but it turns out I was wrong
So finance update:
£25 cash
£6 weekly budget
£379.94 HSB (to be used to go to Scotland on business)
£78.68 second purse (used for bulk buying)
£1 x 10 different flexi saving accounts ready for different pots come payday (car ins etc)
Today is a NSDwell other than paying myself back for items used from my stockpile (but of course that doesn't count). I might only have £31 to last me until Thursday, but I don't need to buy anything as I've got food and the next 3 days will be on expenses
Todays list:
[STRIKE]1. Do a grocery stock take and transfer what is owed to the second purse for items consumed[/STRIKE] £78.68 now in SP
[STRIKE]2. Send customer patch assessment[/STRIKE] Must remember not to name documents with stupid names, or I end up sending the wrong ones oops.
[STRIKE]3. Transfer excess money from weekly budget account so can still stick to £50 budget[/STRIKE] £31 transferred back as I have £25 in my purse
To do:
1. Send customer B patch assessment
2. Put away washing that's been out for days now (naughty)Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Ooh just got an email from mecca giving me £3 for free, so I used it on scratchcards 10p a go and came away with £5.70 for free
withdrew and when it comes through will throw at the c/c.
Hmm, so I went on the grabbit board and have come away buying a g0ssard bra for £4.75. I'm still £1.95 up though so I'm still counting today as a NSDDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I didn't just goggle that trying to find the app honest
:o:o dull moment!
I use http://www.timeleft.info/ for windows (it's absurdly complicated for what I use it for), and there is an applet for the Gnome desktop if you use Linux - that's a lot simpler."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
