Hi Kerri,
Found your diary :j *subscribed*
Now if we are talking sexy vampires, I think you are spot on with the dark and brooding Salvatore brothers - although I kind of have a sneaky soft spot for Blade as well
I have all of the twilight books on my bookshelf that I haven't read yet, I am resisting the urge to watch the films as I want to read the books first.Just keep swimming!0 -
I can no longer look at my diary thread without swooning at the pictures of Erik mmmmmmmm thanks Loubie!
Itsadogslife, I haven't read any of the books except Anne Rice and the films disappointed me for those. I really should read more books.
Just had a call from the OH, he's been offered and accepted his scholarship to Canada, he'll be leaving at the end of February for four months to do artificial research at Montreal university. I'm really pleased for him but will miss him loads. It does however mean that I get a weeks holiday to Canada where I've never been before. But I will have to pay for flights out there and spending money eep!
Mf0u has asked me to put a list of challenges on the debt free by xmas 2012 challenge, which I feel quitefor being asked yay. She's also asked me to come up with a weekly challenge, which will have to be thought about to make it interesting. Have taken her idea for money on choc goes towards debt this week, easy for some harder for others like me.
Just about to have lunch, ham & pea soup with a nice roll. Might have to toast the roll though as it's a bit stale. Today will be a NSDDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

It's officially a NSD today
and I've eaten an entire bar of 120g Cadburys, naughty! Fleabay sales are up to £36.40 with about 20hrs left. I accidentally fell asleep with my laptop on my lap when I got home for an hour, oops! Definitely having an early night tonight, although going to watch a few TVD first. Six packs ahoy! ;-)
Ooh I have decided my outfit for house party on Saturday is going to be a white tennis dress with black sweatbands. My OH wants me to wear a burkha to stop MissedHisChance from hitting on me. He'll just have to trust that I can handle myself, besides MissedHisChance didn't hit on me in the two years when I was single and flirting with him. (hence the name).
NeverBuysARound has challenged me to a "drink you under the table" competition. At uni I won these 9/15 so I feel a win coming on. Going to have to watch the pennies though, so pre-drinking at the house before going to the bars is definitely the way forwards.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Hello Kerri, hope you don't mind if I add you to my ever-growing subscription list. I'm part of the 2012 challenge too.
Just thought I would chip-in about the bed too. We moved into our house 7 years ago, all the do-for-now bits of furniture we bought from Ikea are long-gone, either they didn't last or they were just horrid and cheap looking. All the stuff we thought 'we'll spend a bit more and get something that'll last', are all going strong (and we still love them).
I definitely think Ikea is a false-economy for larger furniture items
You are so kind to your family but you are right, you DO need to stop spending so much on other people:)

Hi Banwa, thanks for following do you have a diary of your own? I'm loving reading them all.
Can you tell my family that a decent bed is worth spending the money on, they don't agree with me. OH has come around to the idea now though.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Just redeemed a £10 amazon voucher from mysurvey, I installed their software this month which got me 550 points. That's going towards the OH's e-reader. He said I'm not allowed to spend £90 on him for xmas so I've been surveying away in order to reduce the cost. £65 left to find.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
