They run off the 02 network (same as tesco) so the coverage should be the same as an O2 phone. The package price is very good and you'll struggle to find anyone else offering the same package for less.

They have a good support forum too!!
Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.

I have been with them for about 8 months as have DH and DD, absolutely no probs whatsoever would thoroughly recommend, use a referral though then you both get free credit
  • I'm with them too, and agree no probe at all (see the other post I made early in the other gg thread)

Some people have had problems getting a sim registered initially or at times topping due to the website having problems and it can be slow to sort out issues as its done by email with them.
Some iphone users struggle with settings and stuff but many don't.

However I have been with Giffgaff for a while with no problems at all!

If you look on THIS PAGE there is a function that will randomly assign you a referral link so you and some unknown member will both get free £5 credit by ordering a SIM. Worked fine for me and arrived in a few days.

Activate the sim, setup on the website and setup a payment method. Bung on some credit and goody bag via website. Job done.

Goodybag runs one month then expires, you can buy the next one before it ends and it will automatically line up ready for when the current one expires. 'normal' credit will only be used where things are not covered by the goodybag allowances, such as going over 250 minutes of calls during the month.

In essence all you need do is log in for 5 minutes every month and buy and line up the next goodybag.
