Cake mix is now £1 in tesco, it was the only worth while reduction in their.

phew FINALLY I got to the end of the thread !!! - I m still in the process of our budget so will post that yesterday, we started cutting back last year, and now feel confident we can step it up and pay off the debts that we have this year:
Credit cards x 3
Water arrears
Council Tax arrears
2 small loans
Gas/Electric arrears
Mortgage arrears
1 other bigger loan that still has 18 years to run but as soon as the above is clear that will be cleared in 3 YEARS !!!!!!
Arrears came about when hubby was on strike, mortgage arrears believe it or not came about because it was THEIR fault !!!
Any way couple of finds - I have a card for bookers and yesterday they had about 5 trays of reduced bread, managed to get 14 @20p each - sliced chicken 20p - peppered steak £1
went through cupboards today looking for my chicken stock cubes, couldnt believe the amount of stuff lurking at the back - still no chicken stock cubes thou !! lol
on a bit of a moan though - we were given a box of m&s cookies for christmas sealed etc and one whole section was empty, - complaint filed, another gripe not on a budgeting item but im on a roll - I got my daughter (11) a girls night in pack from A for Christmas - in the section that had make paper aeroplanes, flowers, ABC puzzles, she opened it and it has pin the willy on the hunk and fake an or**gm on it !!! - im no prude, on looking there was a small 18+ sticker on the bottom corner but to put it in the same section as all the preschool stuff, ??????? - again complaint logged - Ill let you know if I hear anything
when I post my budget ill post my list of things I do/an going to do to achieve goals
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL x x x:j Jan grocery challenge £0 / £220
