  • Thanks dizzy lizzie, I had a fab time in Aberdeen. Didn't spend too much until I got into the bookshop - books are my one weakness :D.

Why is life so hard? We are all decent people trying to make the best of it and it's 2 steps forward and 3 back!

I have the joy of a solicitors appointment tomorrow, things gone down hill with ex and I think it's time to get some proper advice. I think (hope) I will get legal aid for being on a low income.

Hugs to those that need them xxx

Books are my one weakness too!
(Are you sure they're your only weakness? Or are you like Dorcas Lane in "Lark Rise to Candleford?")

Hugs to you natnat - sounds like you could use one. Remember the saying that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger - or something like that. Good luck with the solicitors appt - let us know how you get on. x

hello everyone, I'm back with my tail between my legs. September is going to have to be very frugal indeed as the rest of the year has not been! I just got so fed up of counting every single penny I needed a break. Anyway. So far its a NSD!

    Plans are:
Draw out £70 a week for shopping.
Shop once a week at wholesale veg place and Lidl
Take flask of coffee out with me
Skip breakfast and try to eat one meal a day a couple of times a week
Eat what is in the freezer and cupboards
