Not sure if this is any help - I always renew my car tax either on-line or over the phone.Takes 5mins, and means I don't have to drive to one of the three PO's in the area that deal with CT and queue for ages.

Blairweech - so so sad to hear about you kitty. I'm thinking of you! He was a very hansom kitty. My lovely Oz is under the tree in mums garden where he spent his days gazing at the birds, but was just too lazy to act - thankfully for the birds!

I've done mine on-line for the last couple of years - means I don't have to dig out all the required paperwork (mot and insurance). I ordered mine last Saturday and it arrived on Thursday :)

  • Hi everyone, It takes me forever to catch up with everyone's post. I'm sorry to hear about your puppy wornoutmumoftwo, and I'm really sorry to hear about your cat blairweech. I also have very sad news as we had to put our boxer down last night. He had bad kidneys and was nothing but skin and bones. I'm very sad but I know he is in a better place. :( I need to revamp our budget now since it is all over the place with all the unexpected things. ♥ Have a frugal day ♥ I will try to keep up with you all :o

  • sorry to those who have lost their fluffy pals, im amazed at the ages of your cats girls, well loved and looked after.xxx

well my mum totally loved her pamper hamper and her session in the beauty parlour, so im very pleased that my 1st frugal gift went down well. she also thought the card was lovely and was impressed as this was also a 1st attempt at homemade cards.

    another nsd for me.

    Luv P

  • so sorry to hear about your cat blairweech I had to have my old boy pts a few months back and it broke my heart. I still look for him now :( it takes a lot of getting over and my best wishes go out to you.

Went to a jumble today and bought my son a pair of adidas trainers for 50p, they had mud on the bottom but I had a sneaky suspicion they were hardly worn. When I got home I brushed off the mud, gave them a scrub and cleaned the soles and they came up as brand new :j:j RRP £45 :j:j

I spent £4 altogether as I got a few other bits and bobs. I will soon be known as the Jumble, mad, cat lady but hey I have been called worse :rotfl::rotfl:

Not much else to tell so I'm off to find some mischief to get into

    Have a great weekend

  • Forgot to say.............

The foster babies are doing a little better, they will eat in front of me and have started to play a little. Girlie Bob rubs up my legs in the morning and during the rest of the day she acts like she has never met me before

Boysie Bob is coming around a little and forgets where he is for a couple of mins when the play string comes out :rotfl: then he sits back and plays it cool. They will both let me pick them up for a very short space of time so they have been a lot better than when they first came to me just over a week ago.

I have named them Aston n Angel as I thought I would work through the alphabet, however Girlie Bobs and Boysie Bobs seems to have stuck

One of my own kitties got stuck in a neighbours garden at 10.30 the other night as he is too fat to get over the fence :p I had to walk all the way round and knock on their door to get my cat back :rotfl::rotfl: I was dressed in my severe cold, outdoor mucky clothes (big white puffa coat, white hat and white gloves) and it would have been like having the big white mellow man out of Ghostbusters knocking at your door :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh I am sure the neighbours love me :rotfl:

Sorry for the cat update but I always seem to have a story about them to tell.

    Def off now

Ooh so sorry to hear that Moneybear - how sad!

I can't believe my cat Marmalade is still with us after all these months - most of you probably remember she was supposed to have popped off ages ago.

She is tiny now but still eating, going out, sending everything flying and enjoying life for now!
