so its been a good morning :-) logged onto club card and it has found that i have £18.50 worth of unspent vouchers dated back from 2010...yay!!

So i have spend £10.50 worth of vouchers in exchange for 3 cinema tickets.. will be taking my son with my OH to the cinema for the first time to see Arthur at christmas.. so thats all paid for :) also have about £12.00 worth of costa card points so that will give us some nice creme brulee latte's before we go in.

Also have a £20.00 voucher from harvester after complaining a few months ago.. so we will have a nice meal aswell.. All in all a very cheap day out!

Before my light bulb moment i paid for afternoon tea for my friends birthday in a very posh place.. so thats all booked to go..

Need to get my neice a birthday present..maybe with the rest of the clubcard points?? or with some of the money i get from my ebay sales! THE coat has a £20.00 bid on it.. and all the others have high amounts of watchers :-D

I found an old tesco reciept for £80.00 in my bedroom, so will send that in to get the points put on.

    So far so good :-D

    Thanks Kerri :) x

So today ive woken up after another fab sleep.. son still not well and OH now has his cough and sore throat.
Im so enjoying this journey at the minute but im stressing because i have alot to pay out next year and i mean alot!! the house i live in needs a full re-wire :-/ its not safe and we cant decorate before its done, so im currently in a house with stripped off wall paper and it looks horrible .. really not nice before baby comes as i will be embarassed when visitors come in the new year. We've had lots of re-wire quotes and its going to cost £4000.00 and then lighting fixtures on top.. gutted!! WE cant put it off any longer.. but i have one hell of a save to do. All the ceilings in the house need taking down.. new ceilings back up, plastering thru out.. and flooring thruout.. so even without decoration its going to cost an arm and a leg!!

OH's dad is an electritian, but we cant use him even at his discounted rate because he will take 25 years to finish it off! he still hasnt done his own house.. we've had him do work in the past.. and all he does is get inspiration from ours and starts doing his own lol grrrrrr
Its been awful, weve had some new radiators plumbed in so thats one thing done, and a new shower.. so weve done a little this year.

Just want to invite my friends over in a normal home. We will have to move out next year for the re-wire and put our stuff in storage and possibly pay out for a hotel for over a week while it gets done. Cant have the children (0ne baby) at home in that dust..

OH is working an incredible amount of overtime so we can save...but really would like to be debt free net year at the same time.. unfortuntely i think thats going to have to wait..arghhhh

    Thats all for now :)

Needed a present for my neices birthday. Went onto debenhams via top cash back and bought two gifts in the half price sale for £14.49 with free delivery to her and cash back. Absolute bargain!!

Hey Cherryjack! I've tracked you down!

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well - at least now the whole family has had it, maybe that's you for Christmas and hopefully you'll be all better in a couple of days!

That's a nightmare about the rewiring! It's a shame your OH's Dad can't do it - is it not worth maybe asking if he'll do it as a Crimbo pressie to you all? Don't think I could cope spending £4k on something like that :S

Hope all your eBay sales do really well - have a think about putting the bigger items on Gumtree though. Free and no final fees or Paypal fees to worry about. Think you were wondering about how to calculate fees....most final value fees are 10% then Paypal fees are 3.4% of total plus 20p. Quite pricey really! Think I need to be putting some stuff on eBay soon - my room just keeps getting cluttered all the time and it's annoying me!

Anyway - good luck with the final 3 weeks of your diary! Hopefully it'll persuade you to get a brand spanking new 2012 one sorted next year :D Definitely set yourself some goals though - it's a nice feeling when you reach them!

    xx

Thanks IVM much appreciated and thanks for joining :-) feeling much better today :)
I know the re-wiring sucks.. but his dad will never do it.. and he would infact like to start it and leave us in a terrible condition on purpose! families eh.. lol.. ive been burnt by him before.. OH's family can be very competetive for no reason..long story :) bit im sure they would prefer us not to have a home somedays.. they like to come over to say how awful the place is when i know deep down its somewhere they would like to live.. grrrr lol

Thanks for the tips on ebay :j xx

ON such a high today :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:rotfl:

Little man is better and back to school.. it was so nice to go out on the school run and get some fresh air :)

The big news is OH did loads of overtime this month bless him..he's been out til all hours..and we was expecting a much bigger wage.. and then checked the balance this morning and it was £500.00 more than what we had even hoped for.. yipppeee!! he did so well the company gave him some bonuses..
We were tango'in at 7am this morning much to the delight of my son lol.. it did not look pretty being 8 months pregnant haha but was a better option than star jumps!:rotfl::D:D

Feel over the moon, we have still £90.77 for food budget.. and £99.94 for xmas spending..left until the 15th without touching a bulk of the money.. and then get another 2 wages next month.

Its really pushed us forward for 2012 and OH will be able to have 2 weeks paternity leave without feeling the stress of not earning those weeks, apart from the goverment part.

Plus every single year we have NO money left after xmas what so ever.. so this will be the first time we can sit back and chill .... next year could still be the year with no debts and the house partly done :j:j:j

Amazing how reading a few peoples posts each day can keep you on the right track.. thank you people xxx

I bought some stamps today in tesco extra and walked staright past the food bits ( i usually would have a bought a ready made sandwhich and a few basket bits for £12.00).. just £2.79 paid

Ive cashed in two of my mobiles, and sent them in the post so expecting around £13.00

Some of the ebay sales end today.. im doing really well will confirm figures at the end.

Im off to the school xmas fete later and ive got about £9.00 on me to get whatever..

thats all i can think of for now.. yippee...

Hope yr all having a good day xxx:j
