Good Morning everyone :) i up at a silly hour again.. had to eat something as my sugar levels were low. Anyhow really happy just found out OH is off work today yippee :-) and as we were waiting to buy the baby stuff in the sales today is the day :-).. ive loads left to get.
First we are going to check the attic to see if we still have the car seat and pushchair from my son. I think we stupidly got rid of them when we moved house.. but worth a check.
Ive had a reply from a lady off freecycle that has said i can have her moses basket stand.. yipee:j:j. i will just antibac this down.. and our moses basket has all been washed and the material ironed.. so just need to set this up. I need to buy a new mattress for it today..
May need a new pushchair (exciting) if not a rain cover if i still have my old one.. also a new bouncer chair.. bottles.. and anything else i see i may have forgotten..ekkss.:eek::eek:

This will be my last lost of spending now until the electrics get done later in the year.. apart from sons school shoes etc..
Hopefully i can pick up some bargains.. if you see me write that im out shopping for anything else this year..kindly have a word with me.. apart from a few birthday pressies and clothes for baby if i need them..:rotfl::rotfl:

Thank you :-) we had a nice day.. totally thrilled tho, we looked in the attic and we still had the carseat and pushchair:j:j:j
We stored them so well that they look brand new.. absolutley thrilled and would save us about £350.00-£400.00 will be taking the covers off and washing them. They dont feel old because they are mine if you know what i mean.. they feel special. I belong to a baby group and mums are spending £700.00 upwards for pushchairs.. so feel like ive saved a small fortune. The silly thing is they only stay in the first pushchair for a few months and then you get a light weight one..
Yesterday we just got a real cute blanket multi coloured candy stripes from mammas and pappas, a few clip on pram toys, lady bird etc and the most gorgeous feeding pillow that will go around me. Also some more bottles and a swaddle blanket. Today i just need to get a new moses basket mattress from the shop around the corner.. can you believe mothercare didnt have any lol?!
Little man back to school tommorow, so must get his uniform sorted. Hes been watching my favourite childhood movie today.. return to OZ :-)
Im off to the docs today for my very last diabetic blood test.. so need to get a move on

Feel a little bad, we buy for OH's brother each year.. and he doesnt bother with it. We thought we would cut down this year and not bother (how awful does that sound) any way he only rolls out with some debenhams pressies yesterday for each of us ... i feel like a moron!!! eekkkss

soooo all is well.. ive done a little cleaning..im sure the tea break was longer tho lol. Much more to do and i will get back to it sharpish.
I have a dilema, but i think i worked it out. I suffer from a really bad back.. and with my son i had an armchair to feed him in at night. In the move i got rid of it, damn it :-//
Anyway wowzers arm chairs are costing a fortune out there im talking 400 pounds upwards! i went to the baby shop across the road and they have a nursing one reduced from £400.00 down to £149.00... i left the shop in a hurry in case i bought it.. thankfully i have looked on ebay and there are a few starting at 99p and £20.00 so im crossing fingers that i can get one 2nd hand. I can just wipe it down, dry and pop a pretty blanket on it. Just hope ones comes thru quick xxcrosses fingersxx

basically my OH had booked off the thursday and friday before xmas.. he had it approved. Then the main manager cancelled it and said he had to work. He went to work on the friday and was on a job..it was 6 oclock and home time.. he was still on the job and told his manager that he had finished his shift, and we were going away and had a hotel booked, and what should he do. His manager told him to pull out the sandbags on the job.. and it would be fine as another engineer was there.. and they were sending someone. The water board in the meantime have gone nuts and are trying to blame him (saying he shouldnt have left the job).. so suspended him on full pay while they investigate..along with another worker. He has to write a statement tonight, im just waiting for him to get home. Feel so gutted and sick with worry :-( This company sucks, he workes over 100 overtime hours for them per month. He gets in at 4am so days and is back out at 8am..

Oh no Cherry that's terrible, I hope it all gets sorted. At least it's full pay whilst it's investigated. Put him to work around the house to keep his mind off it
