  • Take a look at Richer Sounds - they're usually better priced than Dixons or Comet. I wouldn't touch Dixons anyway as their customer service has a very poor reputation.

For headphones I'd definitely recommend Sennheiser or Beyer - they're much more rugged than other makes and even their cheaper models sound good too.

Hi Fi eh, I had a pair of Goodmans Magnum K's, connected to a Ferrograph F307 and a Garrard SL75 deck.
What are these cassettes and CDs you speak of?

Cousin had a Quad system, still hate him. :rotfl:

    I had a Ferrograph 307! Not a bad amp.

They are "optimised" for for the teen stuff including Dubstep, R&B, Techno and probably won't do the older stuff justice.

Just wait till he starts driving and you constantly find the CDs left in the player and yours are shuffled somewhere under the seat or in the door pocket, minus the box:rotfl: and the bass on max. Although Rocco Bass T I can just about cope with.
