AFAIK none of the airlines that fly to the USA charge for debit cards.

They don't price match - though some ticket agencies may match a cheaper price from one of their competitors for the same flight.

Try putting a question mark in the title to avoid anyone thinking you have something useful to say.

I had booked my flight to New York from Manchester with xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk and i guess their rates were smashing.A guy called Eddy gave us promo offer and we got the best deal.

Newly registered user and two posts today praising the same unheard of website!

To the OP, when are you looking to travel to the USA? Both Virgin and BA have big sales around Christmas/New Year and the US airlines also seem to follow suit with their pricing. Depending on when you are looking to travel it might be best to wait to book until then, but monitor prices over the coming weeks.

BA and Virgin both charge credit card fees, I know Virgin's is 2.5%. Not sure is the US airlines do. However I'd recommend Expedia, they don't charge any at all and are usually the same price, or withina few quid of the airline direct.

Even if it was more expensive, I'd still rather book an expensive flight on a credit card due to the increased protection is gives you.

Sign up for daily alerts from Kayak. Also, a Firefox browser add-on called Invisible hand searches loads of websites for you in the background.

I don't think Expedia charge for credit card payments

    They didn't charge me.
