WHITWOO My Lego has just been delivered, not bad considering initially it wasnt due to be sent till after christmas.

Hermes are bloody rubbish, i rodered a ring form H samual last year on next day deliery it took the 13 delivery attempts, me 100's of phonecalls. Eventually got a nice little gift card of compensation from Hsamual but it was so stressful.

Delivery driver even had the cheek to say yeah I tried delivering it, hers a photo of the door, Duh thats not my door, not even in my street, idiot. Nice try.

Yodel driver playing knock door run with me today. Got to door to find huge box just left on doorstep, and the driver getting back in his van across the road. I live in a busy London suburb close to a tube station. I have had my dustbin lid and garden recycle bags stolen from outside before so it is definitely not a safe place!

My alien arrived ok & earlier than expected/suggested by amazon (yodel) and it's massive:D
didn't realise it'll be this big (thought'll be more like one of those 80s Playskool gloworm toys) & it's fatter than I expected too (think it's been eating too much space food & needs to start doing zomba)
It's bigger than a big fat baby & if yoyu put it under your arm it's like trying to carry a fat pig (not that I've ever carried a pig...) :rotfl:

Got back onto amazon to say WHERE'S MY DOWNTON??? :mad: (was a lot more polite than that, just quoted my original email & their stockreply & said I wante to know what was happening ) & got a quick reply this time. They're sending me a replacement ASAP w/ a free upgrade to first class post.:T

Amazon have a weird way of choosing who to send things by - some dvds that could've gone by post have gone in with courier parcels but the big Star Trek boxset is being sent by Royal Mail

I'm still stuck in doors even though I've had two deliveries (at the same time) - Doctor Who & Brian Cox are apprentally out for delivery in my actual town since 10:25 - think the TARDIS has got lost again & they've gone off exploring the universe, or they never reached Hermes.:mad:

Has anyone got the Lion King Bluray box yet. I recieved mine this morning and when I opened it there were no inserts at all (I collect the Disney reward points so was looking for the leaflet with the magic codes on it).

I got the Avatar steelbox which I am going to return as it doesn't have the book & cards that were shown during Black Friday.

Just had an email from Amazon giving me a code to get the lego at the black Friday price due to them giving an incorrect delivery estimate of 1-2 months.

I don't have that email. Shame I may have wanted to buy it.

I have got most of my parcels, just waiting on the lovefilm and the MW3. Apparently the MW3 was delivered at 7:30am but I was in until 8:40 and no one knocked. I don't think they left it outside as I didn't see it but I didn't know at the time that it was supposed to have been delivered. There was definitely no Royal mail card though

I'll have to look for it again when I get back this evening. If it is there then they didn't even attempt to knock as my OH was about to leave so was near the front door.

I had one of those before regarding a bluray that was priced at £2.97. They cancelled my order then a couple of days later emailed me a code.

Kudos to them for doing it
