Is anyone else looking at the Kipling handbags? I want to get a nice big one this time, does anyone have any idea how big the Caludine is?0

thanks for that. have you played it. was it any good?
I've rented it but don't own it. It was good, the video replays are hilarious... need microphones to make it more fun though I think, I just had move controllers at the time.So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
Hope sharing saves some pain.0 -
You can get the denby a lot cheaper out there than what amazon are trying to sell it for, either debenhams which always has it at 50% off the denby seconds shop or denby website iself fo the deals and there is really no need to pay half price for it when debenhams often do the big sets up to 70% off:D
Thanks for the advice. I am a bit clueless with tableware - never had to buy it before and I'm not sure which brands are good, and I have heard of Denby so they must be good... right? Don't think my dad will mind if it is a well known brand or not, he just wants a new set that will last.0 -
lilac-straw wrote: »Amazon are massively over staffed this year. They have taken on their usual quota of temporary Christmas staff but are sending home up to a hundred people every day due to lack of work as orders have decreased massively. I know this as my friend's husband is one of the temps and she is very concerned about being able to pay their bills as he has lost a couple of days work almost every week for the month he has been there. He refused to go home one day last week so they had him sweeping floors and emptying the bins for 6 hours.
Last year they must have been rushed off their feet so this year thought they would be the same the only trouble is they are not offering anything that you cannot buy cheaper elsewhere and putting up cat flaps, peter jones socks and fancy drainers is such a waste of time:D
Surely Amazon if you are reading this, you have some people with super whizzy intellectual technical sense that do all the calculations for yesterday and realise that to knock off £3 off a dvd is not going to cause a stampede, that people can google furiosly to bettr the price, to compare the price and that not many people really need a very overpriced spatula or some very bright socks and this year you have got it all wrong, so now putting all of yesterdays stuff back on again today still will not attract the sales numbers becaise everyone from yesterday has told everyone today that you are trying to make us look stupid and living off last years hype;)0 -
:T thrilled to have bought my daughter (11) a netball post for £40 she will be so happy at xmas. She loves netball and has a growth condition which affects her legs, she can train with the local girls at the leisure centre but never plays a match as cant move as quick as others, so this will help her practice shooting and moving. Am so thrilled with the price thankyou to all that post and keep it current. Love this forum
We have Michael jackson on wii, i bought 3 ages ago £6.99 each on amazon, 2 are xmas gifts the other was a bday pressie for a friends child and it is really good, I am looking forward to playing it with our 3 on xmas day. I noticed mel b (fitness) is cheap on amazon or ebay cant remember which) under £6 fancy that for myself!Life happens when you are busy making other plans

I have denby imperial blue and have had it for yeas and years it is worth the initial investment truly it is as apart from an odd replacement have never had to buy a set again so I would highly recommend but would not advice you to pay full price for any denby as there are many outlets that sell it from 50 to 70% off:D0 -

Perhaps your friend can tell the boss people at Amazon there would be plenty more orders and they wouldn't have to send people home, if the prices were a bit better, there were more electronics and more stock of the things that are good value
Yes it is sad, she has three young children too. Her husband lost his job in October and grabbed the chance of a temporary job rather than signing on for benefits because he thought they would be better off but sadly they are far worse off.
I will ask her to point the Amazon bosses in the direction of this thread.0
