Well it's nearing the end of day 1, lets see what you thought of it:

    1. Did you buy anything
    - if so what?
    2. Is it as good as last year, why?
    3. What are you hoping to see from the next few days
    4. Anything in particular you want.
    5. Most ridiculous item you have seen.

    Lets get the ball rolling:

    1. Yes - 2 pairs of trainers, a Decleor set, a Kipling bag, a drill and a bulb.
    2. I didn't do it last year.
    3. Nothing in particular. If I see something that would be good for a gift then i'll try and get it.
    4. As above.
    5. milkshakes!

    Lets get the ball rolling:

    1. No
    2. Lacking somewhat in quality
    3. Technology goods, some good bundles on electronics etc
    4. Not really, just inquisitive
    5. £15 for 3 pairs of socks, sorry but that's topped it off for me, either that or the ladymans watch (which was eventually corrected)

    Bought Calvin obsession
No, last year seemed cheaper and more of a bargain.
Something that is an actual bargain, not inflated tat
    No
The drainer, the spatulas, the socks, the luggage, the measly amount off John Bishop, lots of watches, no one needs them they just want them when they see them, def not worth it for xmas present wise, last year was fun and cheaper:D

  • Thanks Thorny

    1. Did you buy anything
    - if so what? - Astronomy Books and Xbox Driver game
    2. Is it as good as last year, why? - Nope, not so much of a thrill of the chase and also I don't think there have been such good bargains so far this year
    3. What are you hoping to see from the next few days - Better bargains - kitchen and electrical items, some nicer Kipling bags.
    4. Anything in particular you want. - see above , would love a Kitchenaid mixer but funds wont stretch to that!
    5. Most ridiculous item you have seen. - Have to agree about the very expensive socks!

    Lets continue the ball rolling:

    1. Yes: 6 pairs of socks for £12 and the Space rocket set for £5.99
    2. Didn't use Amazon last year
    3. Just cheap stocking fillers as bought everything else
    4. Nope not at all
    5. £15 for 3 pairs of socks as well

Think they may have the boys version later in week, that is what they did last yr (think it was scooters if I remember rightly). I have a toddler and was thinking of one of these, asked in Halfords and the guy didn't recommend them, but I've got friends who love them for their LO's - mixed reviews basically.
My daughter loved her balance bike, she got hers in Feb for her 3rd birthday and went everywhere on it. 2 weeks ago i put her on a "real " bike without the stabilisers and she rode off straight away. She forgot to pedal a few times but now is doing it all on her own. My other 2 didnt have balance bikes and it took them ages to learn how to ride and they were a year older.

Been busy all day, popped on Amazon a couple of times and have been seriously underwhelmed! Hoping it improves as the week goes on.
