1. Did you buy anything
- if so what? No
2. Is it as good as last year, why? No - last year, I bought quite a few things. Mainly presents - I was really happy with the prices I paid. But, this year, so far, the offers seem to be lacking.
3. What are you hoping to see from the next few days A Kindle would be good. Or a decent DVD recorder.
4. Anything in particular you want. See above.
5. Most ridiculous item you have seen. The socks were pretty bad. Plus, I thought the overload with pricey jewellery wasn't great - after all, if I was going to part with 100+ for jewellery, personally I'd want to see it first.

Well it's nearing the end of day 1, lets see what you thought of it:

2. Is it as good as last year, why?
3. What are you hoping to see from the next few days
4. Anything in particular you want.
5. Most ridiculous item you have seen.
2. Nowhere near, reductions are quite poor BUT they still had lots of tat last year and it could improve yet.
3. Bigger reductions
4. I would like cheap chocolate, a boys bike, 3DS accessories, Cars 2 for Wii or DS (unlikely), a wooden play kitchen for less than £40!
5. Those ridiculously expensive table lamps and the £450 earrings (who are the people spending that kind of money on something they've only seen on a screen?!?!)`Internet earnings:
Swagbucks - £748
InstaGC -£73
Nielsen Mobile - £70
Mobile Trends - £19.50
iPoll - £150 -
My daughter loved her balance bike, she got hers in Feb for her 3rd birthday and went everywhere on it. 2 weeks ago i put her on a "real " bike without the stabilisers and she rode off straight away. She forgot to pedal a few times but now is doing it all on her own. My other 2 didnt have balance bikes and it took them ages to learn how to ride and they were a year older.
This is great to hear as I wanted to buy my little man one and the guy at Halfords put me off, told me that kids struggle with a bike after these, but from what you and others and saying, they are helping the process. My DS birthday is in July (will be 3) hope that isn't too late, suppose I could get it early spring to get use out of it. Thanks for response & sorry OT slightly for the deals of today!0 -

On the denby website, in debenhams with 50% off at the outlets I am not sure obviously but pretty sure you could have had the lot for less than you paid for it on amazon, there is a denby shop in my shopping centre that does them at 50% off...
I did a search through Debenhams and they were roughly the same... just a wee bit more expensive, i've been looking at Denby tableware recently, this just seemed a nice convenient purchase.0 -
