Been with Orange for 8 years - Loathed to stay with them, but.....

Hi there,

I have been with Orange for 8 years now and they have been fairly decent to me in the past however my contract is now up for renewal once again and I have been looking at the Samsung Galaxy s2 as my new phone...

Orange don't currently have the white one so am on a waiting list however I spoke to 2 different people over the last 2 weeks who told me they would call me back.

I have not heard from them and am getting a tad impatient...

Dilemma is that the best deal for this phone is with Orange and can I really be bothered to change provider??

Considered Tesco as you get 3points per £1 you pay on your monthly bill but most of their contracts are 24 months...

I am just looking for some advice or input on what anyone else would do in this sisutation

Galaxy S II in white is in stock at the moment.

Give them a call and I'm sure they'd sort it all out for you!

Porting your number to another network is a very trivial affair and I know sometimes it's better the devil you know as you could go elsewhere and find the coverage poor etc.

Have you tried other sellers like dialaphone and not orange direct?

You can get it from a third party company such as Carphone Warehouse, I believe they do the S2 in white with Orange on upgrade.
