What was your postage charge and delivery method on the listing?
This may have prompted the buyer to ask a sensible but inacurate question about postage delivery & security.0 -

I charged £10 postage for "Other 48 Hour Courier". I was planning to use interparcel. Sounds as though I will be covered by seller protection though so it's all good, I hope...0 -

If you read the postage thread (I linked to it above) you will see that is fine. Most addresses show as unconfimed now since they changed the seller protection eligibiltyI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've sold laptops to zero rated overseas bidders. Not had a problem. Sent everything tracked. I can understand the concern about the message but you have to remember they're new at this. I get some really dumb stuff asked from new ebayers, I just give a helpful reply with explanations of what happens.0

Do I need the buyers actual signature for seller protection or just confirmation that it has been signed for? I've sent stuff with interparcel in the past but they only give the name of the signatory. Paypal's terms suggest this would be sufficient: “Signature Confirmation" means documentation that can be viewed online at the postal company’s website and indicates that the item was signed for on delivery.0

See link posted for full details of seller protection- as paypal do not have a copy of the buyers signature they have no way of checking whether it is genuine or not do they?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You only need to show an online signature for items over £150. Less than that you need to show delivery only.0

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll go with TNT Express over interparcel's own service if they show the signature. I'm going to get it sent out in a day or two. Hopefully it will all go smoothly!0
