Which tablet would be better?

The problem with the Archos tablets is that you don't get the proper Android Market unless you hack it with a custom rom - then you'll find that a lot of apps won't work anyway - at least they didn't on the cheapy Archos 7 Home Tablet I got simply because it was cheap. It had good build quality but is only much good as a media tablet which, to be fair, is what it was designed to be. I got it replaced for a 7c which has a better screen but seems to be even slower.
I've got a 10" Kogan on order (they don't ship until the 25th) I'm not expecting miracles from that either though.0 -
Don't bother with the Arnova tablets, they are horrible and slow.
If you can still find one get the HannsPad from Hannspree. They have a very good spec and come with the Android Market. I think you can get them for around £160.0 -
I was looking at all the android tablets and after hours and hours of research because i really did not want to spend hundreds of pounds on a i pad for my 10 year old daughter and after all the hours of reserach in the end i had too many doubts and unless your going for a samsung galaxy etc which is not much cheaper than a i pad i think you get what you pay for. So in the end i gave in and bought her a i pad, I may live to regret it but i did not want to spend on a tablet and did not matter how cheap it was for it too be slow and be very disppointing with i pad you know what your getting. I would always stick to android when it comes to smart phones but in the tablet market i think they are a clear winner!'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0
