we have various veg seeds for planting

    we want to start them up in seedling trays in our spare room but what can i start off now .
    or is there some kind of chart online that i can look at !.

    Just a word of caution. Been told that in "Windless" growing conditions i.e. greenhouse plants can become floppy & start to grow horizontal. Ventilation all helps

    I've never had a problem like this. They are slower growing in the spring and once seedlings are large enough, they are moved to a cold frame to harden off as any indoor plants should.

    Never let them dry out but make sure that they don't 'damp off' from over watering either.

    As soon as seedlings are big enough, transplant them.
    Also, you can start off things like winter lettuce under cloches in the garden.
