Tom TOM compatability with three network phones?? help

I have bought the Tom Tom 910 and i'm happy with it but i'm on the three network and want a handset that will allow me to sent and receive text messages. On the Tom Tom web site there are lists of model numbers that will and won't do this but Three do phones that are not on the lists!!! Can anyone help??
