Orange - treating customers the same?????
Me: Hi I'd like to upgrade my phone please
orange: what phone would you like
me: E61 please
orange: you cant have that one, its businesses only
me: sorry? I'm looking at the phone and the tariffs and it doesnt say that.
orange: you couldnt have that anyway, you didnt spend enough last year
me : eh?? It says you treat all customers the same?
orange: not on upgrades
me: so if I finish my contract I can go on line and get this phone then as a new customer
orange: you cant get it as an upgrade, its for businesses.
me: I'm looking at it and it doesnt say its for business or anything.
orange: we base upgrades on what you spend in the last year.
me: ok please take 1 months notice on my phone, then I'll order that one online
orange ok

I recently went for an upgrade and the member of staff told me I was a level 4 customer on a scale of 1-5 ( 5 being highest) so presumably that must have beenon the amount I spend ( though my spending was only so high as I stupidly voted for Nikki to be evicted from Big Brother last summer too many times - I hated that woman!)
I didn't even get particularly good service though - they wiped all my phone numbers whilst changing to my new phone so you'd be best to go somewhere else I think! - i will be joining the ex-Orange customer list soon too:beer:0 -
yep and i'm currently trying to get away from orange rite now. appalling customer service! Thing is though, there still the cheapest tarrifs for me0
